Does anyone have access to my password? Is this a dodgy email or web site? Can I give out a different email address so that I’m not spammed? Can I fix this IT problem myself? How can I set up a newsletter?
If you’ve wondered the answer to any of these questions, carry on reading.
Here are some of the useful web sites that our engineers might check as a resource or point our contract partners in the direction of – hopefully one might be what you need.
Virus Total
This site will scan any individual file or URL for you (to save you clicking) and will show if it is dodgy or not, which could be useful for those scam emails.
10 Minute Mail
If you ever need a throwaway email for anything, this will generate an email that will last for 10 minutes that you can use to verify on websites and save your real email address going onto marketing lists.
iFixit
Guides on fixing pretty much anything.
Have I Been Pwned
Check if your email addresses are in a data breach or have been on any compromised lists.
Mailchimp
