Director

I started Apollo in 2004 as an IT engineer, and nowadays my focus is business/technical planning, playing table tennis, supporting our team and clients, and gradually improving our systems for the benefit of all. I’ve been fortunate enough to choose who we work with, and our overall direction. I excel at consuming any/all edible treats that arrive in our office, often before others know of their existence. I then return home full of regret and excuses as to why I can’t eat dinner. When not working - I enjoy family days out, painting fences, charity work, cold sea swimming & fitness, and flying things around.

Director

I enjoy a varied role as a director, making decisions and keeping the team motivated with tea and biscuits. I'm overseeing IT support, 365 projects, team management, HR tasks and purchasing. The team are lovely, meaning my purpose has developed into supporting them with my advice and experience. When I'm not working, I try not to upset my wife Claire too much. What helps is avoiding going home, instead playing tennis, and 5 a side football. I'm proud to report our football group have been kicking around for 20 years now, without visible improvement. When I have a little more time, I love to travel and see new places that are not on the tourist trail.

Senior Support Engineer

My aim is to help our clients in a friendly, intuitive way. My main role is resolve common IT issues and keep our records up to date with progress and outcomes. I love speaking to clients and understanding their IT needs. My expertise is with Microsoft 365 and my background is from and educational environment which has given me great transferable skills which enables me to work well with all levels of IT and the challenges that this brings. I am able to troubleshoot and problem solve and often feel like a IT detective! I love keeping fit and walking with our 2 year Cocker spaniel. I also love gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables. Tango the dog helps with the digging too! I also have a strong creative flair and enjoy watercolour painting, crystal art and cross stitch.

Senior Support Engineer

I have worked with Apollo since 2014 and am one of the 2nd line engineers. I have a wide knowledge of our supported systems, clients, and emerging technologies. I’m involved in day to day support as well as new projects, and mentoring the team. I enjoy renovating and decorating my home, in addition to my membership of an archery club. I like to keep up with IT security and new technologies and home automation projects and finding improvements to be made. Also gaming, music, EVs, and Formula E. As a taller gentleman, I'm often called upon to reach things for others.

Accounts and Quality

I deal with the money coming in and going out at Apollo so please don’t make me knock on your door! 🙂 I also oversee Apollo's ISO quality systems, and help the directors with business development. I grew up in Hungary but I have been living in the UK for over 12 years now. I come from a hospitality background and I currently study accounting. I love going outdoors with my wife and son to discover new places. I am one of those who enjoys going to the gym. I am also a big foodie, and love to try food from all over the world.

Support Engineer

I provide various support for general technical issues plus primary support for Phones and Broadband. I've been working with Apollo since 2019, and formerly BT. I'm a bit of a geek, I like to play computer games, watch football, take long walks with my dog and getting caught in the rain - which is often as I live in Dartmouth.

Senior Support Engineer

I provide our clients with senior support & Project Management for Microsoft products like Windows server, cloud and 365. I help clients with their infrastructure – server and network environments. A lot of work in recent years has been spent on Migrating clients to 365 and other cloud based systems. I love spending time with my family, reading and watching movies – mainly Sci-fi based. I do a lot of DIY in my spare time and I’m a constant gardener although perhaps not my favourite pastime. I do enjoy playing computer games but mainly PES 2020 (I can’t move on).

Support Engineer

I’ve worked with Apollo since early 2023, and I fix everything from broken hardware to misbehaving backups. I support our team and clients with a keen eye on proactive support and identifying potential problems before they develop. I do enjoy drinking lots of tea, and playing table tennis with the team in our Newton Abbot office.

I'm an Apollo Technical Engineer specialising in Office 365, Windows PCs, and Apple Macs. I love automating tasks to make our lives easier. Always ready to help with a smile and a dash of tech magic. Away from work you'll find me tinkering with the latest gadgets, and exploring automation projects . I enjoy gaming, sailing, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and I’m always on the lookout for the next adventure!
